This roll bar went into an '87 Fiero GT with a supercharged 3800 destined to compete in the Nevada Open Road Challenge.

Go to page 2.

The first step is building the mounting plates. The mounting plate shown will be welded to the chassis and another identical plate will be bolted on top of it.
Bending the bar.
The bent main hoop.
Test fitting the bar for the first time.
The right side looks good.
The left side looks good.
The bar will now be trimmed to fit the mouting plate.
A step needs to be added to the mounting plate so the bar can sit flat.
The main hoop is now tacked where it belongs.
